An almost logical continuation, after all, for an artist who, under the name of Raphaël, undoubtedly a little better known, never stops writing snapshots of life, like short stories...
Raphaël grew up in the Parisian suburbs and then in Paris and very quickly immersed himself in the music of his idols, Alain Bashung, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Barbara, Renaud, Gérard Manset and David Bowie...
whom he will support in 2002 at the Olympia. Raphaël established himself in the business in three steps: in 2000, Hôtel de l'Univers (a reference to Rimbaud) was a critical success; in 2003, Sur la route, an extract from his second album, La Réalité, was a hit; in 2005, his album Caravane was a diamond disc - 1.8 million copies sold and three Victoires de la musique (artist,
album, song, trifecta).
His new album "Haute Fidélité" is available since 5 March 2021.
