I always tried to put colour in some way on paper or canvas or silk and leave a trace. Then one day I tried it with a pastel stick and continued the discovery. I have always been attracted by nature and I am passionate about the play of light. Pastels allow me to play with the shadows I find on the paths, on the banks of rivers or on the edge of a wave, in the olive trees or in a field of poppies..."
Pastel has a powdery texture of great softness, supple and docile, which invites her to touch it and shape it with her hand. She talks to it, she tries to tame it every time. "It is a permanent challenge, each painting is a new exciting adventure that brings me joy...".
