They chose to keep five characters and a love triangle in Molière's play and to leave the audience the choice of cast for each performance to question the importance of the roles, the notion of employment for the actors, the function of the costume... The change in cast also changes the idea of gender and age, themes at the heart of our society. Around a written framework, the actors improvise, offering food for thought, humour and criticism. They question avarice here and now in a contemporary language that adapts directly to each day, each place, each audience. Their words meet those of Molière to carry the spectator away.
