The Porquerolles Yacht Club's most famous regatta takes place every year on Whit Sunday. Boats sail around the island in a direction chosen the day before.
Departure is from Plage d'Argent or La Courtade.

The Porquerolles Yacht Club's oldest and most famous race, held every year on Whit Sunday. Boats circumnavigate the island in a direction chosen the day before.
The start is given from a beach (plage d'Argent or Courtade).
All crew members are seated on the sand and must swim back to their boat anchored in front of the beach when the starting gun is fired.
The prize-giving ceremony takes place on Sunday afternoon, during a cocktail party at the Sainte Agathe fort.
The day ends with a grand ball organized for participants and the many tourists and visitors, in the evening on the Place d'Armes.
- Boats in port: 90 to 100
- Participants: 500 to 600 sailors and more than 1,000 people at the ball on Sunday evening.
