Visite guidée du canal des arrosants

Description

Our guide invites you to discover how the white water of the Reppe River was domesticated by man from the Middle Ages onwards thanks to the construction of canals, including the Canal des Moulins, the Fontaines and the gardens.

Find out more

Over the centuries, the people of Ollioulais have, with ingenuity and obstinacy, been able to share these waters. You will learn how Ollioules became the flower capital from 1850 to 1990. You will visit the Moulin de Palisson, a 15th century flour mill, a true museum of the miller's trade.
If weather conditions permit, at the end of the visit, a tasting of local products will be offered to you (at your discretion): wine produced by the Domaine de Terrebrune as well as artisanal biscuits made by Péchés Gourmands.

Duration of the visit: 2h30.
